Extremely heavy stoneware, tiered vessel.  I really have no idea what this is!  There is a threaded hole in the top to screw something in?  It is stamped S(B)T. UPDATE! I HAVE LEARNED THAT THIS IS AN INSULATOR...LIKE FOR POWERLINES. I FOUND ONE LIKE IT ON E-BAY. COULD BE A COOL CANDLE HOLDER OR SERVING VESSEL.
